The purpose of this group is to create community for families with children aged 7 and under who are interested in homeschooling, unschooling, deschooling and alternatives to traditional school. This is a secular group. This is a place to create play dates, story times, craft project dates, etc., for 2-7 year olds who may not be in formal preschools or kindergarten.  It is also a place for their parents to learn, share information, and meet like minded folks.

The Los Angeles Homeschool Community Center (LAHCC) is a club in West LA that offers free playgroups, discounted classes, free member-run workshops and events. We are a non-profit that meets in an incredible indoor/outdoor facility which includes a gardening space, a moon-bounce, board-game room and a growing library. I hope you like dolphins, Lasers, Lego's, Star Wars, video games, movies and many other things- because here at the Great Asperger's homeschool Group the kids have a say in what  our meetups are about! Parents, Talk to your kids and ask them what they would like to do or where they would like to meet, and post it on our suggestion board. We are looking to jam on ukulele and other rhythm instruments with children 2+!! This is a fun musical meetup to inspire creativity, singing, dancing and learning how to play the ukulele and other rhythm instruments. Parents/legal guardians can bring their children and attend these classes in my studio or the local parks for some fun music making!
